Scope
Our website is intended for business and professional audiences, including clinicians, nuclear medicine departments, radiopharmacies, pharma and biotech companies, and investors. This notice covers personal information we receive through the website and related business contact. It does not cover clinical trial data, which is governed by the notices provided to participants of each study.
Information we collect
- Enquiries. When you use our contact form or email us, we receive the details you give us, typically your name, job title, organisation, email address, phone number and the content of your message.
- Business relationships. If we go on to discuss a collaboration, investment or supply arrangement, we keep the business contact details and correspondence needed to manage that relationship.
- Stakeholder surveys. If you choose to complete one of our optional surveys, we receive your answers and any contact details you decide to include.
- Technical information. Our website hosting provider may record standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type and pages requested, to keep the site secure and working.
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies on this website. Please do not send us medical records or other health information about an identifiable patient through the website.
How we use it and our lawful basis
We use personal information only for the purposes below, relying on our legitimate interests in running and developing our business unless stated otherwise:
- to reply to your enquiry and follow up on the topic you raised;
- to explore, set up and manage clinical, manufacturing, commercial and investment relationships, or to take steps at your request before entering into a contract;
- to understand the needs of clinicians, patients and nuclear medicine departments through optional surveys;
- to keep our website and systems secure; and
- to comply with legal and regulatory obligations, where that is our legal obligation.
We do not sell personal information, and we do not send marketing emails unless you have asked to hear from us. You can opt out at any time.
Who we share it with
We share personal information only with service providers who help us run the website and our business, under contracts that require them to protect it:
- Microsoft hosts our contact form (Microsoft Forms), email and business productivity tools.
- Typeform hosts our optional stakeholder surveys.
- Our website hosting provider serves the website.
- Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
We may also share information with partners or prospective partners where you have asked us to, or where it is needed to progress a collaboration you are involved in, and with regulators or authorities where the law requires it.
Embedded content
Our contact page embeds a Microsoft Forms form, which Microsoft may use cookies or similar technology to deliver. You can instead email us directly or open the form in a new tab. Our About page links to an introduction video on YouTube. The video only loads after you choose to play it, at which point YouTube (Google) may set cookies under its own privacy policy.
International transfers
Some of our service providers may process personal information outside the UK, including in the European Economic Area and the United States. Where this happens, we rely on UK adequacy regulations or appropriate safeguards such as the UK International Data Transfer Addendum, as required by UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry correspondence for up to two years after our last contact, unless it becomes part of an ongoing business relationship. Information relating to contracts and investments is kept for as long as the relationship lasts and for up to seven years afterwards, to meet legal, tax and accounting requirements.
Your rights
Under UK data protection law you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, and to ask us to correct, delete or restrict it, or to transfer it to you or someone else. You can object to our use of your information based on legitimate interests, and to direct marketing at any time. To exercise these rights, email info@nuclearmedix.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, please contact us first. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including access controls and the security features of our service providers.
